More than Meets the Eye on Jamal Khashoggi

By December 29, 2018July 9th, 2019assassination, saudi arabia, torture, Turkey

A Few weeks on October 17th, I wrote an article on the former Washington Post Journalist and Saudi citizen/US Resident and how he was brutally murdered within the walls of the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul, Turkey. Things appeared pretty cut and dried. He was hated by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman(MBS), so same MBS put a death warrant out for him. Jamal Khashoggi went to the Saudi consulate to pick up some documents for his upcoming marriage to a Turkish citizen. While he was in the Consular office, he was detained, tortured and murdered.

This week several news outlets are now reporting after further investigation, that Jamal Khashoggi was in fact a double agent for the Qatari government and was working implicitly against the Saudi regime. I have a feeling that this story is not over yet… and…you guessed it!… There is More than Meets the Eye!
