What a way to start a new year! It is my privilege to write about Jihad! I know some may find that odd, but to me it is such a fascinating and poignant subject to begin 2018 with. I think we are going to see a lot of it in 2018 and I think that we as christians need to have a healthy understanding of what it is, is not and how we ought to respond when it raises its ugly head against this ewe love and care for.
I keep reminding my readers that I am not fluent in Arabic, nor am I an Islamic Scholar. I am however a Jihadism scholar and I am well read on what the aspects Jihadism are and how they seem to fit historically into the theological framework of Islam.
